An opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support an elementary school setting focused on early childhood education in Liberty, MO. This contract position extends through the current school year, ending May 29, 2026, with approximately 35 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have expertise in school-based speech therapy and be prepared to manage a full caseload primarily delivering therapy services, with no evaluation duties required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing therapeutic interventions to a caseload of 50-60 students, primarily early childhood
- Collaborating with school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implementing evidence-based speech-language therapy techniques in a school environment
- Documenting therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school policies
Desired qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP - School)
- Expertise with early childhood caseloads preferred but SLPs with varied experiences will be considered
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative school setting
